Silverstone Classic
The big event this weekend is the Silverstone Classic, starting today (Friday) the event is on all weekend and includes Mini Se7en and Miglia racing, plus many other historical marques, plus commentary from Murray Walker, and music from the Pussycat Dolls and Santana.

For those who are up in the North East, Mini Mania is a show you won't want to miss out on. With a change of venue to Ushaw College, Durham, you can expect this to be the biggest Mini Mania yet with plenty of club and trade stands and fun for all the family. Why not pop along.

Dartington Crystal Mini Show
Down in the far reaches of Devon the North Devon Mini Register is holding an informal get together on sunday (July 26) where owners can turn up, relax, chat, enjoy the hopefully sunny weather and grab a bite to eat. There will also be a dog show (seemingly a trend this year following Compass Mini Owners' show) and a show 'n' shine for all entrants. Entry is just £3 and all money raised goes to the Children's Hospice.

In Derbyshire there is a beautiful period village where Minis will be meeting up this Sunday (July 26). there will be traders and club stands plus a parade through the scenic village. With plenty of historic shops and museums it's great fun for those who want more than just a static show.

North West Mini Show
Those in the North West are being generously catered for recently, following the Blackpool Run, as serial show organiser Andrew Greenwood expands his portfolio or events to Macclesfield. Similar in format to the Newark and Malvern shows, this new event is held at Capesthorne Hall - an 18th century Jacobean-style house - located between Manchester and Stoke.
Expect club and trade stands plus a good selection of autojumble and show 'n' shine. Entry £6.
