Cumbria Classic Weekend 2009
Wigton Motor Club, the organisers of the Cumbria Classic Weekend are looking for the oldest privately owned Mini in Cumbria!
The Cumbria Classic Show is celebrating the 50th birthday of the Mini with a special display of Minis of all types including several rally Mini Cooper Ss.

There is a special class for all types of Mini at the Show on August 23 and an award will be given to the owner of the oldest Mini in Cumbria.
Hundreds of classic cars and thousands of enthusiasts are expected to head for Dalemain House near Penrith for the Cumbria Classic Car Show. As well as the special features on Morgan, Mini and Austin Healey there will be vehicles from the start of the 20th Century right up to modern classics. Add to that arena action, trade stands, autojumble and crafts and it’s a day for all the family. There will also be discounted entry to the Dalemain gardens.
Entry forms for vehicles, clubs, and traders and for the Rose and Thistle Challenge are on the website at www.wigtonmc.co.uk.
