Silly Mini Sunday
Held at Crealy Adventure Park, Devon, this great day promises to be fun with a capital F. Show-goers can enjoy various activities before taking part in a convoy run to Exmouth promenade later in the day. The 15th anniversary of Disneyland Paris provides the theme, with fancy dress encouraged although not compulsory. Space is available for 50 Minis on a first come first served basis, but you must be on site by 9.30 am. Entry is free, with donations to the Children's Hospice South West gratefully received.

Jamie's Run II
Easter Monday plays host to the second Jamie's Run, organised by the East Coast Mini Club in memory of club member Jamie Bailey, who died in 2005. The route begins in Great Yarmouth and takes in East Anglia's best country roads, before finishing in Felixstowe. The £5 entry fee will be donated to the MS Society, with stickers and t-shirts also available to commemorate the day.

Club Mini France track day
Club Mini France is organising a track day at the Bois-Guyon circuit, just north of Dreux, to celebrate its 20th birthday. Safety is taken seriously, so you'll need to have a rollcage fitted if you want to take part. Only 40 track passes will be available before the March 25 deadline, so you'll have to hurry. For those not wishing to venture onto the circuit, entry will cost just €3.

Thong Run
This year's Thong Run weekender will take place at Anita's campsite in Mollington, Oxfordshire. The weekend will cost £12 for Minis and £15 for non-Minis, including entrance to the event for one Mini / non-Mini and its occupants, one camping pitch, a sticker and run plaque. The comically named run (a play on Monte Carlo) organised by the SDMOC has been confirmed as taking place over a few days from June 23. Travelling in convoy from the Mourne area in the north of Ireland to Carlow you'll also take in some spectacular Irish scenery. The SDMOC is hoping this will become the annual event of the year in Ireland, and if the buzz on the forums is anything to go by this should be a winner.

This ultimate petrol head weekend caters for a whole host of retro machinery, from modified to stock, show car to race car. Held at the Mallory Park circuit in Leicestershire, the show will take place over the Saturday and Sunday, with camping available from Friday onwards. Saturday will see a large part of the circuit used as a sprint track for RWYB action, with evening entertainment and a soapbox derby as further highlights. Club displays and trade areas feature on both days, while Sunday can also boast full track action.

Castle Howard Extravaganza 2
Back by popular demand, this Northern Minis-organised weekender will be based at the fantastic Castle Howard venue in North Yorkshire. Friday will be a chill-out day to pitch tents and relax, while Saturday will include a gentle run to the Yorkshire Air Museum. The evening will include a spectacular firework and aerobatic Spitfire display, while Sunday is given over to the Ryedale run; a 150 mile run through the glorious Yorkshire countryside. Entry for the whole package is £55, including camping, all passes and run paraphernalia. Bookings must be made before July 31 and the event is limited to 75 cars.

Moonlight Run
This overnight run will be a fundraiser for the 2008 Hambleton Mini Show. Cars will meet at Pilling, near Preston in Lancashire, from 4pm before setting off at one minute intervals from 6pm, navigating their way along a route covering about 20 villages in a surrounding 40 mile radius, with the run expected to take about three hours from start to finish.
