Mini Cooper Register on FaceBook.
The MCR joins the social network generation.The Mini Cooper Register has boosted its online presence with a new Facebook page, which has been set up with the aim of keeping members and potential new members up to speed with all the latest club news. It’s just one of several new initiatives from the Register, which is looking to broaden its appeal to younger Mini Cooper fans.
“We had a lot of interest and encouragement from club members when we launched our website – www.mini cooper.org – in 1999,” says Register chairman, Robert Young. “Our Facebook page is a natural progression from our website, making it even easier for people to find out what’s happening. We hope that being on Facebook will offer an extra dimension to existing members and help us to attract new and younger members as well.” The page can be found at www.facebook.com/minicooperregister.
